Marcos' First Gingerbread House

Remove Formatting from selection

We went to our friends house last night, for pizza and gingerbread house decorating. I think Marc and Sydney's favorite part was eating the candy. They had these awesome kits at Costco. They had a good time getting messy!

I found Rudolph today!

He chose his own pose here!

Today was a REALLY crappy day. It just started off really bad, and continually got worse. I felt fat today. Getting Marc ready for school was a headache, because he woke Isaiah up from his nap so he could play with him. So now I have a crying baby to deal with, and try to get Marc to school on time. We had to stop and get the teachers a stinkin' Christmas gift, so I stopped at Starbucks to get a gift card. While I was getting the baby out of the truck, Marcos took off on me in the parking lot (dangerous).I felt like I spent the first half of the morning yelling. (I felt really bad.) Then Isaiah cried all the way to take Marc to school and then all the way home. I just felt like a loser mom.... Okay, Enough complaining I promise!
I walked into Marcos' class room to pick him up, and the whole class was sitting in a circle with these little antlers on their heads and red painted nose's. Sounds so stupid, but I started to get teary eyed. It just made my whole day! He was so proud of his disguise. He thought I couldn't tell that it was him! The look on his face was priceless. He brings me so much happiness, and laughter, and other times anger. But at the end of the day, I am so happy to have such an awesome kid. And also I'm so lucky to be a mother! Needless to say, my day had gotten better!

Taking Marcos to school today...

I decided before I took Marc to school today, that we would stop at Wendy's and get some lunch. So we pull into the drive- thru, (because we had to eat in the truck. It was a rainy day, and I swear they had a geriatrics field trip there! It looked like it was snowing inside from all the white hair. Sorry, I will get back to my story....) I order and wait for the food, and the conversation went something like this..
Marcos: Mom you are sweet and sour and Dad is Barbeque sauce.
Me: Why am I sweet and sour?
Marcos: Because you are the nicest mommy!
Me: So why is daddy Barbeque sauce?
Marcos: Because he is grumpy sometimes, and when I get in trouble he makes me sit on my bed for a long time!
Me: When you get in trouble with me, I send you to your room too!?
Marcos: Yeah, but not for very long. Lets make a new rule, how ever old you are you have to go to your room for that long.
Me: (thinking to myself, this kid is to smart) No.
How do they even think about this stuff at this age?!?I hope I am still sweet and sour!

Okay Brooke tagged me. You asked for it, so here ya go! Oh yeah I tag Brittney.

1. I am so in trouble when my mom reads this, but oh well. When we use to go toUtah to visit my grandparents, me and two of my siblings (that I will not drag under the bus with me) would go out in the pasteur to visit the horse Ginger. On the way back to the house we would pinky promise that on the way back, we could each take a turn and say as many curse words that we wanted and none of us could tell on the other!

2. When I was about 10 or 11, I went with my mom to pick my sister Mindy up at a friends house. Well, when my mom turned the corner I accidently opened the car door of the Rabbit and fell out! I held on for dear life and kept on running with the car! I had the bloodiest toe ever. My mom didn't realize it right away, but eventually she let me get back in the car! If you picture it, you will laugh even harder!

3. I use to be the manager at one of the City pools. That is how I met my man. We both ended up quiting at the same time. Me to do something different, him to move to Hawaii with his then girlfriend. I never gave guys my number, but when he was leaving I ran out and gave him mine. I asked him if he wanted hang out before he moved. He said sure, what are you doing tonite. I told him I had other plans. I really did. His version my plans were with my ex. We went out the next night. Here we are 7 years and 2 kids later.

4.I got dumped on my 16th birthday by my boyfriend Ian. He gave me a birthday card that said.."someone would have to wake up pretty early in the morning to pull one over on you! What an idiot!

5. I love to watch people trip or fall. I don't know why?! I just think it looks so funny. They have the most stunned look on their faces, and then they hit the ground! I am laughing just thinking about it. Man I am sick!

6. I love anything competitive. Swimming, volleyball, soccer, t-ball, snowboarding. I tried surfing and I am offically horrible! I am not one with the ocean, I freak out. One word "JAWS"!!!

Yesterday Marcos had a feast at school.

Garrett, A.J., & Marcos having a feast at school. I was kinda sad. I thought that they might have learned a song or poem to preform for the parents. Sike, they tricked me. Nothing... his teachers are lame.
I did get to sit and listen to little kid conversations! Those are always entertaining!

My little Momma's boy!

Isaiah laughed for the first time last week! He has the cutest little laugh ever. I love watching him grow and change every day. It is so exciting, and fun!

I feel so bad for my kids!

I wouldn't want to be a kid and have Mando and myself for parents...(only sometimes! )
The other night, Marcos was feeling a little left out. He had just fallen out of his chair at dinner. He came over for hugs and kisses to make it all better. A few minutes later he was walking around and just looked bored. I was feeding the baby, so I couldn't exactly play. Mando got up and said "Oh lets do what ever Isaiah does.!" So Mando lifted him up and started to burp him. Then I had to change Isaiah's diaper. So Mando, I thought was going to pretend to put a diaper on Marcos...NO he really put one of Isaiah's diapers on that poor little boy! Marc was laughing until I got the camera out and took a picture! When he got down I was going to show him what he looked like...he said "now erase that I am so embarrassed! Don't show anyone! So when we get to Vegas nobody better say that they saw my BIG boy in a diaper or I am dead!

Our trip to Vegas

Isaiah's first plane ride...Marc's 50th??

My little brother Randy's first time seeing Isaiah. Aren't they so cute!?

This is my niece Riley talking on the phone to her dad. At the last minute in the car she decided that she wanted to come and live with me. When ever we asked her what her name was she would say Riley Margas! It was so cute! She called me mom all night, and my brother Uncle Darren! It was great.

Marcos can not keep up with the cousins! He was so exhausted this night. We woke him up to eat dinner, but he decided to go back to bed instead. He didn't even make it up the stairs...

So... we just got back from Vegas on Thursday! We had a great time. Marcos woke up every day to a house full of cousins. He thought that he was in heaven. When we got to the airport to come home, he said "why can't we just live in vegas. I am going to miss my cousins so bad. We can live with Aunt Machelle." So, I tried telling him all the reasons that we needed to go home, for example Dad misses us, your friends miss you, school...... and he came back with, "Dad can move here with us. He can get a job with Uncle Delbert. I told him that Dad works behind a desk and would not like Uncle Delberts job. Then he can work with Uncle Darren and keep all the bad guys in jail, he told me. I said I don't know, you will have to talk to your Dad when we get home. So, one quick plane ride later, we get to baggage claim and see his Dad. Okay tell Dad what you told me at the airport in Las Vegas..... "I forgot." He is crazy!
So... after every trip it is funny to see what kind of things he has picked up from all the diffrent cousins and Aunts and Uncles. It usually takes a week or two, but eventually it all comes out... We woke up yesterday morning and Marc was in my room watching cartoons and I was in the living room feeding Isaiah. Marcos comes with a cupped hand and puts something in my mouth! I said what was that? (nothing was in his hand I was rather confused)He just gave me this smile and said, "I can't tell you, my cousins taught me something. What did they teach you I asked? Well, my cousins said that if you fart and cover it with your hand and feed it to someone they will throw up! Auuhghghggh! I am here to tell everyone that yes, I have officially been buttercupped by my five year old!!
Gross but a funny!

Poor Isaiah had a rough week... first was the "boy operation". Just when you thought all was well.., He got his brothers cold..., and last but not least a diaper rash. I think they are all pretty much under control now. It just stunk because it was one thing after another.

He is already 5 weeks old. He is getting so big so quickly!

The boys messin' around in the hat store at the warf

Marcos thought he was pretty funny wearing his Nana's glasses and his dad's hat! He is such a clown.

A mouth full of birthday cake

His 5th birthday. Opening his presents before going on the airplane with his Nana.

He really fell asleep like this!
