What's been going on in January now that February is almost over!!!

Fluffy

Marcos was picked to bring Fluffy home this day. He is the class bear that loves to read, do homework, and play games with you! (Shocking how much you can get them to do with this magical bear!) We took him out to the park and Marcos and his friend Jasmine played with him.
Jasimine mom met us at the park behind our apartment.
On our way back through the apartment complex Marcos and Jasmine decided to run ahead of us and hide! We got to the end where we thought they would be and they were no where in sight! I freaked! I whistled and called his name... nothing. Jasimine's mom called...nothing! I looked everywhere. I ran back to the park, I ran to my house I looked in the bushes, Jasimine's mom went to her house.. 5 or 10 minutes passed and still nothing. I called Mando because now I am losing it. My heart was racing out of my chest and I was scared. Marcos never hides this long, and always comes to my secret whistle. Mando works on site, so he hopped on the golf cart and went cruising around looking for the two runnaways! (Keep in mind they are both wearing brown!) They were hiding in the bushes right where we were. Quiet like a mouse and still as a statue! The only reason they were found was because they came out to switch hiding places! They went so far back into the bushes that their brown clothes made them blend in!
One of the scariest days of my life!

Marcos had his cast taken off...

Marcos had his cast removed on January 23rd. The x-ray tech had to take Marcos back and get another x-ray to make sure it was healed. His name was Joe. I wasn't able to go into the room, because I had Isaiah with me. The room was right across from the waiting room, and the door had a window so you could look in.
While in the waiting room, Isaiah managed to pull out one of the palm tree plants from its pot by the root and get soil everywhere! I tried to repot it, but there was no disguising it.
While I was repotting the plant, I heard a loud roar of laughter but didn't know where it was coming from. Joe came flying out of the room red faced and histarical! He said, " did you hear that?"
Me: No
Joe: Your son is so funny! He made my day!
Me: Oh great... what did he say?
Joe: I asked him if he could hold really still for Joe, and he said.... Oh yeah like Jo- mama!
Marcos: smiling and ever so pleased with himself!

We had a few house guests! Yay I love that!

Randy and Bri at Red Robin before they left to go home!

Randy and Bri came out for a mini vacation. I got them addicted to a few of my favorite shows, we ate yummy frozen yogurt, shopped and listened to Isaiah cry for the first 4 days of their stay. When he decided Uncle Randy wasn't so bad, they had to leave! :( We had a good time just hanging out. When I say hanging out, we didn't really get to do much. Between getting Marc off to school, and nap time for Isaiah our day was almost over before it began! They were able to see how uneventful my days can be! I do however think that there was one highlight! ....
We went to the "Castle Park" (If you notice we do not call any of the parks by their real names). There were some little wooden bicycle spring toys, that the kids get on and rock back and forth. We were standing around watching the kids when out of the corner of our eyes, we caught a glimpse of something strange! This little Asian woman was sitting on one of them for a long time. Rocking back and forth in slow motion! She had on one of those Rice hats that they wear while out working in the field. It looked so funny! We laughed and said that it looked like she had just walked around the field for the first part of her work out, and decided to end her work out on the ab machine ....aka the wooden bicycle. We joked about it and said it was going to be the new exercise that everyone was doing. We said that when her friends asked her how she dropped three dress sizes, she replied it is a new ab machine they have at the park. You should try it!
Wouldn't it be funny if you were walking up to the park and notice a line of adults waiting to ride the wooden bicycle!? Haha
Needless to say I had a great time with them and was very sad to see them... and Randy's awesome cooking abilities go!

Bri stopped to visit her Aunt in Ontario before they got to my house. She gave her this bag of tamales that Bri carried around just about everywhere with her! I think she was afraid that I was going to hide them or eat them! Haaha just kidding Bri!

Rachael and Victoria stopped by for a visit before Randy and Bri arrived. They were on thier way to Disneyland! I love you Rachey!

We call it " Rock wall Park!"

Marcos wanted to show me that even though he had a cast, he can still climb to the top of the Rock wall!

Isaiah in desperate need of a hair cut. He thought this little rocking seat was cool.

The weather in January was bizzare. One day it was like summer, the next like winter. We took full advantage of the summer days!
